K of C All Downriver Desert Meal

Sunday, March 1, 2026 – 3pm to 5:30pm
Crystal Gardens, Southgate

Come and support the seminarians from Sacred Heart Major Seminary as they journey to the Holy Land (or alternate Holy site) as part of their priestly formation. Mingle and eat with them as they share their vocation story and call to the priesthood. $30 for a full meal including dessert and coffee/tea. A cash bar will be available. Tickets are available at the St. Pius X Parish Office during business hours or contact Brian Batko at 313-550-1330

Pre-Valentine's Day Ladies Night and Council 3956 Business Meeting - February 4, 2026 at 6pm - St Pius X Social Hall

Our February 4th, 2026 Business Meeting is extra special, because it’s a Pre-Valentine’s Day LADIES NIGHT!

We are asking all of our Brother Knights to invite their Wives and Lady Friends to attend this special event. We’ll start with an abbreviated Business Meeting followed by a special meal and socializing with everyone!

We hope your LADIES (and yeah, the Brother Knights too) can attend on Wednesday, February 4th in the St Pius X Social Hall.

The Passing of Brother Knight William McLaury

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brother Knight William McLaury. He joined the Knights of Columbus in 1980, and joined our Council in 2014. He was active for many years and was a friend and Brother to any and all that met him.

He will be Instate on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 14101 Superior in Southgate at 10am.

The Mass of Resurrection is Saturday, December 27, 2025 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 14101 Superior in Southgate at 11am.

May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

Larry Rossi’s Drive aka the M.I. (Tootsie Roll) Drive is this weekend – PLEASE HELP!

This weekend, we are going to be at Lowe’s in Southgate, the intersection of Eureka Rd and Dix Toledo Rd and after the 4pm and 9am Masses to solicit donations (and pass out Tootsie Rolls) to help those with intellectual/developmental needs. We are doing this in honor of our late Brother and Friend Larry Rossi! (This was his favorite event!)
