IMPORTANT Council 3956 Meeting Reminder – Wednesday, April 4th at 7PM
My Brother Knights,
VIVAT JESUS! This is just a reminder that there is a Regular Business Meeting on Wednesday, April 4th starting at 7PM in the St. Pius X Social Hall.
We will be opening nominations for Council Officers at that time. If you are interested in helping our Council by becoming an Officer, please attend this meeting. If you would like to know more about a specific position, feel free to attend the meeting or email me (raybilyk(at)kofc3956.org). If you cannot attend the meeting, but are interested in running for a position, please email me as well. (A great PDF pamphlet with descriptions of the Officers and their responsibilities can be found HERE.) After tonight, nominations will be tabled until the May 2nd Regular Business Meeting, where we will ask for nominations once more, close nominations and elect Officers.
A VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER… There are at least 2 Officers (Deputy Grand Knight Dave Sajdak and myself) that will NOT be running for those offices again! We REALLY NEED Brother Knights to step up and run for offices this year. I am serious when I say this: If I can do it, you can also!
NOTE: You must be a 3rd Degree member by June 30th in order to become an Officer. (Don’t worry… there are still 2nd and 3rd Degree Initiations being held before then, including one we are hosting on Sunday, June 24th.)
We will also be discussing our Coffee & Donuts/Membership Drive on Sunday, April 8th, our Charity Family Breakfast and Tootsie Roll Drive on Sunday, April 15th and other upcoming events.

This festival is very important for us because this is also our MEMBERSHIP DRIVE WEEKEND! We can use EVERYONE who attends to assist in asking eligible Catholics to join us in our good works… that they can see with their own eyes! I’ll make it interesting… FOR EVERY PROPOSER WHO BRINGS IN A NEW MEMBER (and they join us), I WILL GIVE THEM A $5 GIFT CARD FOR LITTLE CAESARS (or a $5 donation in your name to St. Pius)! (No, I don’t get a discount on the pizzas… I wish!) Ask anyone and everyone to join us in the Knights of Columbus!
Next Wednesday, September 6th at 7PM, we will be holding our monthly meeting in the St Pius Social Hall. Please attend if you can. We have a lot to discuss, so we would really like you to know what’s going on.

MEETING NOTICE & COUNCIL TRAINING NOTICE- Rescheduled business meeting set for Wednesday, March 22nd at 7PM
We have finally rescheduled the business meeting we cancelled earlier this month due to the power outage to THIS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22nd at 7PM in the St. Pius X Social Hall. We hope that you can make it.
For all officers and Brother Knights interested in running for an office for the 2017-18 fraternal year, there is Officers Training being held on Thursday, March 23rd starting at 6PM at Wyandotte Council 1802, 3530 Biddle Ave, Wyandotte, MI. It is scheduled to last 2 hours or less.

Council 3956 Business Meeting – Wednesday, March 2nd at 7PM
Just a reminder to all of the Brother Knights that there will be a very important Business Meeting on Wednesday, March 2nd starting at 7PM in the St. Pius X Social Hall. ALL Brother Knights are expected and encouraged to attend.
As was discussed at last month’s meeting, we will no longer be having a meal prior or following the meeting. Please plan accordingly.
We have A LOT to discuss, as this will be a very busy month:
- We are hosting a Vatican Exhibit of Eucharistic Miracles on March 5 and 6
- We are hosting our monthly Charity Family Breakfast on March 13
- We are holding our annual Drive to Help the Mentally Impaired (Tootsie Roll Drive) on March 18-20
We are discussing the results of our previous events. There may even be a surprise or two at the meeting…

Also, if you sold your tickets to the CHRISTmas Concert (Unspoken Concert Poster), please bring it to the meeting. You will also be able to purchase tickets at that time as well! We need everyone’s help to make this a success!
My wife, Jennifer, also wanted to ask all of you if you could bring 3 dozen cookies to the CHRISTmas Concert. She’s talked to many of the ladies, but I know a lot of you are great cooks, so as a family, we ALL can participate in this way.
